No matter what season you arrive in, rafting is the ultimate activity to enjoy in this tropical climate. Splashing through the rivers helps keep you cool in the dry season, but nothing beats rafting in the rain in the green season. The raindrops have no effect on you as you splash through the warm river waters.
Our tours offer the greatest level of safety, while allowing you to let loose and enjoy the ride. The many rivers offer the opportunity to choose whatever level of adventure you desire, from a family float to navigating adrenaline-rush-inducing white waters.

Shoes suitable for getting wet, or sandals that are sturdy and will stay on your feet in the water
A pair of shorts and a light shirt that will get wet on the raft
A change of clothes for after the tour
Sunscreen
Insect repellent
Sweater
Windbreaker
A wide-brimmed hat or a visor
Shoes suitable for hiking, if you plan on participating in one of our hikes
OPTIONAL: A water proof camera
OPTIONAL: Sunglasses with a cord

Single Day Tours
The day starts with a hotel pick up in San Jose and a breakfast to give you energy for the day. Our expert guides will provide you with safety instructions and directions for how to paddle before you push off for your adventure down the river.

Multi-Day Tours (2-5 Days)
On the first day we will pick you up early in the morning, in order to get you into the river before lunch for a 1 – 1 ½ hour exciting rafting excursion. In the afternoon you will have the option of enjoying yourself around the hotel or taking part in an organized expedition that will allow you to discover another side of Costa Rica.
