Surfing
Join our surf instructors for a wicked tour of the beaches and waves of Costa Rica. Choose from hanging ten in Tamarindo, catching waves in trendy Jaco, or chilling in the epic surf at Dominical. Each tour includes surfing at least 3 different beaches, and there are options for both beginners and more experienced, intermediate or advanced surfers.
If you aren’t a beginner but don’t feel ready to put yourself into an “advanced” tour, don’t worry. Our tours are flexible enough to accommodate your needs, and we’ll have you feeling confident in a hurry. For the really adventurous, we also offer a full Pacific Coast tour.

Full Coastal Tour
If you just can’t decide what beaches to go to because they all sound so good, this is the tour for you. Spend 10 days with us, exploring the highlights of the pacific coast with us, and then wind down the tour on the Caribbean Coast in the laid back area of Limon. We will be spending two days in each location.

Dominical
Dominical is described by many as a surfers’ paradise, and renowned for consistent waves at all times in the year. Be forewarned that some surfers who find themselves in Dominical decide to never leave. It’s a laid back surf town that tends to have fewer crowds than other beaches. The surf has a sand bottom with waves that are typically 1 – 1.5m high (3 – 5 ft), making it a great place to push yourself and become a better surfer.

Intermediate / Advanced Tour
On the first day you are picked up from the airport and driven to Playa Tamarindo to check in to your hotel. You’ll get a chance to grab one of our surf boards and hit the waves right away. It’s open surf the first day to get your surf style back.

Jaco
Jaco and Playa Hermosa, the site of the 2009 World Masters Surfing Championship put on by the International Surf Association, is where city fun meets beach relaxation. With plenty of things to do and a thriving nightlife you’ll never get low-tide blues here. Located in the central pacific, Jaco is one of the closest beaches to San Jose. Variety is the key in this area. There is a very high density of gorgeous beaches that are perfect for surfing around Jaco. On our tours, you can expect to visit at least six beaches including Playa Hermosa, Playa Esterillos, and Playa Bejuco. Surfers from all over the world talk about how consistent the waves are here year round.

Tamarindo
Situated on the Nicoya Peninsula, Tamarindo is said to be the most cosmopolitan beach in the country and is known for its endless beaches. It has a conveniently located local airport, and is only a 75 minute drive away from the international airport in Liberia.
